A contemporary fintech facelift for a software-wide refactor
The entire team joined forces to collectively revamp Finli's software. Simultaneously, the design team collaborated with the engineering team during their refactor, enhancing the overall look, componentizing the UI library, and implementing a unified UX system logic.
I lead re-design efforts which included a High-Fidelity UI Component Library, UX System Logic, Leading Team Workshops, and Mentoring Design Team.

Enhance the user interface and experience of Finli's SaaS invoicing and payment product by incorporating a modern and inviting aesthetic. Emphasize a friendly and trustworthy vibe to resonate with users. Simultaneously, streamline our internal processes by componentizing the UI system and systematizing the UX logic
After years of design, new features, and some team turnover, our UX rules became unclear. The refactor provided an opportunity to establish clear software-wide logic, especially for data tables and CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) actions. As Finli grew, maintaining this logic became vital for system unity amid team expansion.
We established a streamlined system for generating new imagery to enhance our friendliness and contemporary appeal. The software re-branding which included a three-dimensional aesthetic complemented by a gradient, elevated us to the level of major tech players in the industry.
For Figma's software, we crafted a UI system providing a single source of truth for our design and components. As Finli expands, this system remains adaptable for seamless updates and revisions.
Our branding took a 180 degree turn from pastel and soft to techy and more mature for our users, while still maintaining the company’s friendliness & reliability.
